Common challenges our customers face โ and how we help.
What happens to your family if something happens to you tomorrow?
Without a will or trust, the state decides who gets your assets, who raises your children, and who manages your affairs. An estate plan puts you in control.
Worried your estate will be tied up in probate for months?
A properly funded revocable living trust avoids probate entirely, saving your family time, money, and the stress of court proceedings.
Concerned about estate taxes eroding your family's inheritance?
Strategic gifting, trust structures, and charitable planning can significantly reduce or eliminate estate tax liability for high-net-worth families.
Not sure who will make medical decisions if you can't?
Advance healthcare directives and medical powers of attorney ensure your wishes are followed and a trusted person speaks for you during a medical crisis.
Have a special needs child and worried about their future care?
A supplemental needs trust preserves eligibility for Medicaid and SSI while providing additional funds for comfort, enrichment, and care beyond what benefits cover.
Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions? We've got answers.
Do I need a trust or is a will enough?
A will alone must go through probate, which is public and can take months. A revocable living trust avoids probate, maintains privacy, and allows for seamless management if you become incapacitated. Most people benefit from having both.
How often should I update my estate plan?
Review your estate plan every 3-5 years or after any major life event: marriage, divorce, birth of a child, significant asset change, relocation to a new state, or change in tax laws.
What happens if I die without a will?
Your state's intestacy laws determine who inherits your assets, which may not match your wishes. The court appoints an administrator and the process is typically slower and more expensive than having a plan in place.
At what age should I create an estate plan?
Every adult over 18 should have at minimum a will, power of attorney, and healthcare directive. If you own property, have children, or have significant assets, a trust-based plan is strongly recommended.
