How often should I get a facial?
For general maintenance, every 4-6 weeks aligns with your skin's natural renewal cycle. If you're addressing specific concerns like acne or aging, we may recommend more frequent sessions initially, then taper to monthly maintenance.
Is microneedling painful?
We apply a topical numbing cream before microneedling, so most clients feel only mild pressure and a tingling sensation. Your skin will be red afterward, similar to a sunburn, which fades within 24-48 hours.
What's the difference between a facial and a chemical peel?
A facial is a multi-step skin treatment including cleansing, extraction, and hydration. A chemical peel is a targeted exfoliation using acids to address specific concerns like pigmentation, acne, or fine lines. They serve different purposes and can complement each other.
Can I wear makeup after my treatment?
For most facials, we recommend waiting 12-24 hours before applying makeup to let your skin absorb the benefits. After peels and microneedling, you'll need to wait 24-48 hours and use only mineral makeup initially.
