How often should I visit the dentist?
Most adults should visit every six months for a cleaning and exam. Patients with gum disease or higher risk factors may benefit from visits every 3-4 months. We'll recommend a schedule based on your individual needs.
Do you accept my dental insurance?
We accept most major dental insurance plans and file claims on your behalf. We also offer affordable payment plans for patients without insurance. Contact our office with your plan details and we'll verify your benefits before your visit.
What should I do if I have a dental emergency?
Call our office immediately. We reserve time each day for emergencies and can usually see you the same day. If a tooth is knocked out, place it in milk and get to us within 30 minutes for the best chance of saving it.
Are dental X-rays safe?
Yes. Digital X-rays emit up to 80% less radiation than traditional film X-rays. The amount of radiation from a full set of dental X-rays is less than what you'd receive from a short airplane flight.
How long do dental implants last?
With proper care and regular dental visits, dental implants can last 25 years or more — many last a lifetime. Success rates for dental implants exceed 95% in healthy patients.
