Do I need a doctor's referral to see a nutritionist?
No referral is needed for general nutrition counseling. If you are seeking medical nutrition therapy for a diagnosed condition, a referral from your doctor may be required for insurance coverage.
What is the difference between a nutritionist and a dietitian?
A Registered Dietitian (RD) has completed accredited education, supervised practice, and a national exam. Our team includes RDs who can provide medical nutrition therapy and accept insurance.
Will I have to give up all the foods I love?
Absolutely not. Our philosophy centers on building sustainable habits, not restriction. We work with your food preferences to create a plan you genuinely enjoy following.
How often will we meet?
Most clients start with weekly or biweekly sessions, then transition to monthly check-ins as they build confidence. Virtual sessions are available for added convenience.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We accept most major insurance plans for medical nutrition therapy. We also offer affordable self-pay packages for general nutrition coaching.
