Does insurance cover home health care?
Medicare covers skilled home health services (nursing, PT, OT, speech therapy) when ordered by a physician and you are homebound. Most private insurance and Medicaid also cover home health. Personal care and companion services may have different coverage — we verify your benefits before starting care.
What's the difference between home health care and home care?
Home health care is medical — skilled nursing, physical therapy, wound care — provided by licensed clinicians under a physician's order. Home care (companion/personal care) is non-medical — help with bathing, meals, companionship. We provide both under one roof.
How quickly can you start services?
For urgent situations like hospital discharges, we can often begin care within 24-48 hours. Routine cases are typically set up within 3-5 business days. We coordinate with hospitals, physicians, and discharge planners to ensure seamless transitions.
How do you select and train your caregivers?
Every caregiver undergoes background checks, reference verification, skills assessment, and supervised orientation. Our nurses and therapists are fully licensed and insured. We carefully match caregivers to patients based on personality, skills, and specific care needs.
Can I choose the same caregiver each visit?
Yes, consistency is important for quality care. We prioritize assigning the same caregiver or small team to each patient. If you ever feel the match isn't right, we'll reassign immediately — no questions asked.
