Do I need a referral to visit the wellness center?
No referral is needed for most services. You can book directly online. However, if you're seeking acupuncture for a specific medical condition covered by insurance, a physician referral may be required by your insurer.
Is acupuncture painful?
Most people feel minimal sensation — a slight pinch or tingling when needles are inserted. The needles are hair-thin, much finer than medical needles. Many clients find sessions so relaxing they fall asleep during treatment.
What should I expect during my first visit?
Your first visit includes a comprehensive health intake discussing your medical history, current concerns, and wellness goals. We'll recommend an initial treatment plan and you'll typically receive your first session that same day.
Are these treatments covered by insurance?
Acupuncture is covered by many insurance plans. Nutritional counseling may be covered under certain conditions. We provide proper documentation for insurance submissions and can help verify your benefits before your first visit.
Can I combine multiple treatments in one visit?
Absolutely. Many clients pair acupuncture with infrared sauna or combine a reiki session with guided meditation. We can schedule back-to-back services and our practitioners coordinate to ensure treatments complement each other.
