How long does hair need to be for waxing?
Hair should be about a quarter-inch long — roughly the length of a grain of rice, or about 2-3 weeks of growth after shaving. If hair is too short, the wax can't grip it effectively.
How long do waxing results last?
Most clients enjoy 3-4 weeks of smooth skin after waxing. With regular appointments, many find that regrowth becomes finer and sparser over time, extending time between sessions.
Is waxing safe for sensitive skin?
Yes! We use hypoallergenic hard wax formulas designed for sensitive skin. Let your esthetician know about any sensitivities and we'll select the gentlest products and techniques for your skin.
What should I do before my waxing appointment?
Gently exfoliate the area 24 hours before your appointment. Avoid sun exposure, retinol products, and heavy lotions on the day of. Wear loose, comfortable clothing, especially for bikini and Brazilian services.
How do I prevent ingrown hairs after waxing?
Exfoliate gently 2-3 times per week starting 48 hours after your wax. Moisturize daily and avoid tight clothing on freshly waxed areas. We also offer ingrown-prevention serums you can use at home.
