What's the difference between tuckpointing and repointing?
Repointing is removing old mortar and replacing it with new mortar. Tuckpointing is a specific decorative technique using two colors of mortar to create the illusion of thin, precise joints. In common usage, many people use the terms interchangeably.
Can you match the mortar color on my existing brickwork?
Yes. We custom-mix mortar to match your existing joints in color, texture, and profile. Proper color matching requires considering both the wet and cured color of the mortar, which is why we always do test samples first.
