Is chiropractic treatment safe?
Yes. Chiropractic care is one of the safest non-invasive treatments for musculoskeletal conditions. Our doctors are extensively trained in anatomy and spinal manipulation techniques. Serious complications are extremely rare.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No referral is needed to see a chiropractor. You can schedule directly with us. However, if your insurance requires a referral, we can coordinate with your primary care provider.
How many visits will I need?
Treatment plans vary based on your condition. Acute injuries may resolve in 4-8 visits, while chronic conditions may require a longer course of care. We'll provide a clear treatment plan with expected timeline after your initial evaluation.
Does the adjustment hurt?
Most patients feel immediate relief after an adjustment. You may hear a popping sound, which is simply gas releasing from the joint — similar to cracking your knuckles. Some mild soreness for 24-48 hours after your first few visits is normal.
Do you treat children?
Yes, chiropractic care is safe and beneficial for children of all ages. Pediatric adjustments use very gentle pressure and are adapted to a child's size and development. Common reasons parents bring children include colic, ear infections, and sports injuries.
